One of my niches is Photoshop, as I've been teaching the program to my high school students for 17 years! While my own journalistic ethics won't allow me to change peoples' persona and make them look like supermodels, I do include small and simple edits in my packages on things like blemishes, scratches, bruises, small stains on clothing -- anything that's not a natural, permanent part of the body/wardrobe. I will do advanced editing of things like cleaning up eyebrows and changing skin tones and editing out wardrobe malfunctions or tan lines for people for an additional charge.
The most exciting aspect of my Photoshop skills is that I can add people to your photos who were not present at the event or perhaps missed out on a photo opp. The most common request I get is to edit deceased relatives into pictures, in an angelic sort of manner. I am more than happy to do this special service for people. Cost varies based on the quality of the original photos I have to work with and the positioning of people in the recent photos you want them edited into. The base price is $20.
The first example below is a photo I edited for one of my 2019 Streetsboro grads. Her grandfather's gravesite was at the cemetery we were shooting in (I know it sounds weird, but Crown Hill in Twinsburg is a gorgeous site for shoots!) and she asked me to include this photo of him and the line he always said to her.
The second photo is of 2020 Madison High School graduate Brayden Johnston, whose mom requested a then and now Photoshop merge.
